Comments: To celebrate my birthday, a wine from my birth-year was hauled out of the cellar by our French hosts. This was an incredible Burgundy (although apparently 1971 was a dry, not great year) with lots of mystery and overtones of coffee as the flavour developed in the mouth. It was also interesting to see how the tannins had sank to the bottom over the years, leaving the wine with an overall rose color. --EcumeDesJours 16:54, 1 January 2008 (EST)
